Direct Cheap Flights to Limoges

The advent of cheap flights to Limoges, the capital of Limousin in France, makes access to the region very much easier. You now have a very good choice of flights to Limoges from different parts of the UK. It is still possible to get a return trip for about £20, all taxes included, especially out of season.

We have indicated the approximate travelling times from each airport in France to the nearest main towns in Limousin:- Limoges in Haute Vienne, Gueret in Creuse and Tulle in Correze.

Direct Cheap Flights to Limoges

Flying into Limoges gives you easy access to all the departments of Limousin. Gueret, the capital of the Creuse department, is just 60 miles and about an hours drive from Limoges. Tulle, the capital of Correze, is the same distance although the driving time is about an hour and twenty minutes.

Direct Cheap Flights to Brive

Limousin's new international airport, Brive - Vallée de la Dordogne, is in the south of the region. Located in Correze it is just 40 minutes from Tulle. It is also conveniently situated for a lot of Haute Vienne, with Limoges about an hour away.

Direct Cheap Flights to Limousin France

Limousin covers a very large area and apart from the cheap flights to Limoges, you could consider flying into one of the other nearby airports. If the UK airports mentioned above, or the flight times, are not convenient for you, there are cheap flights to other airports in France that are located just outside Limousin.

In order to select the most suitable alternative to the flights to Limoges you can use one of the many route planners that are available on the internet. We have found ViaMichelin to be very good as it includes clear directions, toll points and costs, petrol costs and speed camera locations.

If your destination is the northern areas of Creuse or Haute Vienne then Poitiers is not too far away. Both Limoges and Gueret can be reached in about two and a quarter hours from Poitiers.

With many more departure points in the UK, Bergerac is a viable alternative if you are travelling to southern Haute Vienne or Correze. You can drive to both Limoges and Tulle in about two and a half hours. Southern Creuse is a bit further but Bergerac may still be an option for you if one of the airports mentioned below is close to you in the UK.

- Flights to Bordeaux -

Going a bit further afield but worth including here as an alternative to the flights to Limoges are flights to Bordeaux. Correze and the southern and western areas of Haute Vienne are two to three hours drive away. Like Bergerac, however, you have a wider choice of departure points in the UK. And given the option of driving on crowded British roads or traffic free and well maintained roads in France, we know which we would choose!
